O'Byrne Cup final in limbo

The Leinster Council may not be able to reschedule the O'Byrne Cup final between Kildare and DCU until April.
With the National League and Irish Daily Mail Sigerson Cup about to get underway, the provincial body could struggle to find a suitable date for the re-fixture. Kildare will be in National League action over the next two weekends, while DCU - who are one of the favourites for the Irish Daily Mail Sigerson Cup - will get their campaign underway against Cork IT on Tuesday week (the game was originally due to take place tomorrow).
The first break in the National League schedule will be on the weekend of February 25-26, but that's the same weekend as the Irish Daily Mail Sigerson finals, which DCU hope to be involved in.
The next break doesn't come until early April, by which time the students will be preparing for their exams. The final cannot be fixed for midweek unless the game is moved away from Newbridge, which doesn't have floodlights.
"The Leinster Council are going to have to try to find a date in the calendar that suits everyone," DCU manager Niall Moyna said in the Irish Daily Star.
"But the league starts next weekend and then we're out the following Tuesday. If we win we will be out again the following week and there's league games nearly every weekend for a while after that.
"It's not ideal, but we don't live in a perfect world."
