O'Sullivan returns to Dubs defence

August 19, 2010

Dublin's Cian O'Sullivan
Cian O'Sullivan is back in the Dublin team for Sunday's All-Ireland football semi-final against Cork.

The Kilmacud Crokes clubman is named at left half back in place of Barry Cahill in what is the only change from the team that defeated Tyrone in the quarter-final. O'Sullivan replaced Cahill at half-time in the 1-15 to 0-13 win and retains his place in the half back line alongside Kevin Nolan and Ger Brennan.

O'Sullivan made his first championship start in the Leinster opener against Wexford on June 13, only to suffer a torn hamstring in the opening minutes. He has gradually worked his way to full fitness since then and is now back in the starting line-up as the Dubs go in search of a place in the All-Ireland final for the first time since 1995.
