Dublin manager John Murphy wasn't making any excuses after his side's narrow defeat to Clare in yesterday's ESB All-Ireland MHC semi-final.

"We could have snuck it," he said after a late rally brought the Dubs to within a point of the Munster champions.

"But we have on complaint with the result. Clare took their scoring chances better than we did. As well, we allowed Clare to take a 0-8 to 0-1 lead in the first quarter and we started very poorly in the second half, conceding three points in the first five minutes." Tweet
