Leinster chiefs predicting 30,000 final crowd

Croke Park
The Leinster Council is expecting no more than 30,000 people to pass through the Croke Park turnstiles for Sunday's provincial hurling final between Dublin and Kilkenny.
Despite the Metropolitans' involvement in the final for the first time since 1991, tickets sales have been slow with less than 10,000 being sold so far. The Dublin county board is doing its level best to drum up support for Anthony Daly's side, but Croke Park is expected to be less than half full come 4pm on Sunday.
Dublin chairman Gerry Harrington hopes that 40,000 Sky Blues fans will turn up for the game, but Leinster Council spokesman John Joe Walsh feels such a figure is unrealistic.
"I think the figure of 40,000 is very unlikely. In or around 30,000 might be a lot more realistic gauging the way it is going so far. We'd be worried about it," he admitted.
By contrast, the Dublin footballers are set to sell out Croke Park for their Leinster SFC final against Kildare on Sunday week.
