Brady expecting free-flowing final

Dublin's Tomas Brady
Dublin's Tomas Brady says his side won't be going out with the intention of out-muscling Kilkenny in Sunday's Leinster SHC final. Kilkenny manager Brian Cody claimed earlier this week that teams have upped the physicality stakes in a bid to knock the Cats off their perch, but Brady insists Dublin won't be taking that approach and is predicting a free-flowing game like the one fans were treated to when the sides met in this year's NHL. "We played more with abandon than anything else that day," the full back said. "There didn't seem to be any fear in our lads. We ended up losing by two points. It was actually very disappointing to lose, lads felt we could and should have won. "You have to front up to them or you're not going to beat them but we won't be concentrating on the physical side. We're a good enough hurling team to compete on those terms." The Na Fianna clubman admitted that Dublin's long-overdue semi-final win over Wexford has taken a huge amount of pressure off them as they face into their first Leinster final in 18 years. "If we are competitive, people will be surprised. There is not much pressure on us in that sense. But it is a Leinster final so we are going to put pressure on ourselves to perform," he added.
