Paul Farrell Cup
Burren won the Twenty Fifth Anniversary Paul Farrell Cup at An Riocht on Saturday beating the hosts and defending champions An Riocht in a thrilling final by one point. Newry Shamrocks won the Shield competition beating Glenn in the final. Afterwards Liam Farrell presented trophies to all four finalists. Thanks to the competing teams, referees and everyone else who helped make the occasion such a success.

This Tournament has been organised in accordance with County, Provincial & National regulations. The emphasis will be on enjoyment and playing against new teams. Teas and sandwiches, burgers, donuts, ice cream and juice will be on sale.
33 teams have entered, there are 8 pitches in use and if there is any change to anyone's entry please contact An Riocht by telephone on 028 4176 3681 or by email at
[email protected] by Thursday 24th May before the draw is made. The first 8 games will throw-in at 10.30am, with the finals taking place between 2.45pm and 3.30pm, each team is guaranteed at least three group games plus a minimum of one knockout game. There is an entry fee of £25 for this underage tournament. DE Photo, Professional Sports Photographers, will be providing action photos of the matches to purchase (www.dephoto.biz), this proved very popular last year.
