The Down GAA Supporters' Club have raised £20,000 for the County Board training fund.

At a presentation last week, the cheque was handed over to the county board. The monies were raised through a number of activities including programme sales, membership and other fundraisers.

Over the past 12 years, the Supporters' Club has raised in the region of £115,000 for the training fund and they were thanked for their efforts by the County Board chairman Seamus Walsh. Tweet
