* An Riocht Senior Footballers entertained Loughinisland on Friday evening, knowing that an improved performance was needed if they were to make it three wins out of three in Division Two. An Riocht started brightly, with Paddy Gartland pointing early on before Jamie O'Reillys goal settled Loughinisland. A Chris Killen (free kick) and Conor O'Reilly traded scores before Rory Mason (free kick) put the visitors Two points up. Another Killen free was cancelled out by Mason with a free of his own. Aidan Nixon (2) and Killen added scores before a well taken Seamus O'Hare free kick put Loughinisland Four points up. Killen then produced a brilliant free kick from the sideline with the outside of his boot, which sailed between the sticks with ease. A high ball into the Loughinisland square was broke down by John Clarke for the on rushing Paddy Gartland who finished to the net with style to draw the game level, before Johnathan Flynn pointed to leave the halftime score, An Riocht 1-05 Loughinisland 1-06
An Riocht stared the second half like a house on fire, and after some great work by Paddy Gartland and John Clarke, the ball was slipped to Rory Cunningham who kept his head, and fired to ball bast Kieran Gorgan for An Riocht's second goal. Chris Killen (3) and John Clarke stretched An Riochts lead to Six before Johnathan Flynn pulled one back for Loughinisland. Killen, Declan Doyle and Darren White tagged on scores for An Riocht before Killen added another from a fine long range. Jamie O'Reilly and Jerry-Lee Cordell traded scores and Aidan Nixon and Seamus O'Hare added scores for Loughinisland, but An Riocht held out for a hard fought win. Final Score, An Riocht 2-14 Loughinisland 1-10
An Riocht had excellent performances from Aidan O'Hanlon at the back, Declan Doyle was outstanding at midfield, While up front, Darren White and Paddy Gartland worked hard, and Chris Killen excelled once again.

* The Senior Reserves faced another stern test against a youthful and physical Clonduff side in a windy Hiltown on Sunday afternoon. Having suffered 2 heavy defeats last week, An Riocht were hoping to break the duct. Playing with the wind in the first half, Clonduff took the lead through Kevin Parr's long range effort but Paddy Cole's driven point seemed to suggest An Riocht weren't going to roll over. Eventually the wind became an increasing factor in Clonduff's dominance with Bernard Branagan and Shane Ward lofting over points, before Patrick McGreavey fired past Brendan Allen in the An Riocht net for the games first goal. Two quick-fire Karl O'Hagan frees and another goal from Conor Grant put Clonduff in complete control, and further points from Shane Ward (2) and Bernard Branagan, either side of a Paddy Cole free kick meant Clonduff lead 2-08 to 0-02 at the break
With the wind on their backs, An Riocht expected to claw back the deficit in the second but things didn't go quite as planned. Patrick McGreavey pointed well before An Riocht Niall McGovern broke free and finished well past Clonduffl Keeper' Darragh Sherry. After that An Riocht couldn't keep possession and the home team took full advantage with points from Conor Grant, Karl O'Hagan, Barry O'Hagan and a well taken goal from Shane Ward. When the ball broke loose in the Clonduff box, Ryan White reacted quickest, turning his man before unleashing a thunderbolt to the top corner of the net, and soon after Diarmuid Flanagan popped one over the bar as the visitors gathered momentum. Shane Ward added another point before Niall McGovern grabbed his second goal of the game, finishing smartly from a tight angle. Paddy Cordell and Karl O'Hagan traded points before Paddy Cole tapped over a free to bring the game to close. Final Score Clonduff 4-11 An Riocht 3-5

* The U18 Footballers were back in Tuesday night action last week against a very strong Bryansford side at St. Patrick's Park. A few lapses in concentration allowed Bryansford in for Five first half goals which left the score at the break, Bryansford 5-4 An Riocht 2-4. An Riocht improved greatly after the break and their defence was very disciplined, and while they kept the 'Ford scoreless, they couldn't do enough up front to claw it back enough to dig out a result. Final Score: Brynansford 5-4 An Riocht 2-11
* The U16 Footballers after three games on the road, graced the playing field at Dunvail competitively for the first time this season, as the took on a talented Carryduff outfit, looking to extend their unbeaten start to the league. Carryduff started brightly and were soon in front when Nicholas Turkington's free kick found its way between the sticks. Carryduff looked dangerous on the attack and it took a brilliant save from An Riocht Steven Doran to deny Shea Rielly a goal. Shortly after Turkington added another Two free kicks before a fine Kory Colgan block denied him the chance of a goal. Shea Rielly soon did find the net with a thunderbolt to the top corner of the net. An Riocht settled momentarily and registered their first score of the game through Darragh Campbell, before Ronan White added another. Just as it looked like we had a game on our hands, Rielly added another goal to deflate the improving An Riocht. Turkington added another free before Michael O'Rouke was fouled in the square, and stepped up to slot in the penalty to leave the half time score, An Riocht 1-2 Carryduff 2-4
Carryduff started the second half the brighter and increased their lead to Seven with Ryan Murray and the inform Turkington adding scores, before a great save from Patrick Rice denied An Riocht a way back into the game. The next Two scores effectively finished the game with Conor Rooney pointing before Ciaran Kearney netted from close range. A Darragh Campbell free kick was cancelled out by Aaron Dotherty. Campbell again pointed before Nicholas Turkington beat the out coming Steven Doran to poke the ball to the net, then fired over the ball again just as the final whistle sounded. An Riocht 1-4 Carryduff 4-9
The score line did not do An Riocht any justice as the boys played hard and contested every ball, and once they get a few players back from injury, they should get back to wining ways again. Best for An Riocht was Ben and Jack Rafferty at the back, Jacks Walker caught some great balls in midfield while up front, Darragh and Michael tried had.
