Week Commencing 30th January
*An Riocht Senior Football Training Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays in the Sports hall, at 8.30pm indoors for the next few weeks. All players are asked to bring £1 and their own water bottle, everyone welcome.
* An Riochts Minor & Senior Camogs resumed training on Sunday in Kilbroney. And will continue for the next few weeks.
* U14 Football is on Mondays at 7.30pm.
*Every Tuesday An Riocht presents 'Ceol, Caint Agus Craic' for musicians, singers and artists of all ages and levels of ability.
*Shane Connaughton's play The 'Pitch' took to the stage on Wednesday past, the first play performed in the area for almost fifty years and was enjoyed by Everyone. Thanks to all who attended , to all who supported and who help with the setting up of hall, making teas, selling raffle tickets and cleaning the morning after.
*An Riocht's second Annual Fight Night will take place on Saturday 18th February. Details of bouts will be released next week.
* Indoor Hurling Down competition finished on Sunday.
*.St Bronaghs Rostrevor won the Primary School Indoor Hurling at Dunavil on Friday past
*Tom & Pat attended the Pitch seminar in St Johns
*An Riocht's Annual Awards & Special Awards night entertainment is in your hands, who would you like to see perform this year, the Kilkenny's will be a hard act to follow, but if you have a suggestion, please post in on our Official Facebook, just search AnRiochtGaa. Suggestions have to be in by 7th February.
* An Riocht Development sub-committee meets at 7pm on Thursday 2nd February.
Ulster GAA has advised that Club Development committees should (a) get more people involved in the club (b) review how the club is run (c) participate in Club Maith (d) encourage full integration within clubs (e) promote a healthy lifestyle (f) pursue all available funding and grant-aid. In addition An Riocht has to meet monitoring requirements from SportNI in respect of the new pitch development at Dunavil.[Soft Break]Anyone who feels they may have something to offer in respect of any of the above is encouraged to attend without obligation.
*Next up for the An Riocht Social Initiative group is a visit to Stormont and a 'Troubles Tour' of Belfast on Monday 20th February. You do not have to have played Gaelic Games to participate in the GAA Social Initiative and anyone interested in taking part or with an idea for a Social initiative activity should contact Tom Cunningham or the Club.
*St. Columbans trained at Dunavil ahead of the Ulster Semi-Final next week.
*Tuesday 31st 7pm GAA Officer training for Chairmen, Treasurers, Secretaries, PROs; 7pm Senior Indoor Camogie
*Wednesday 1st February 6.30pm U8/U10 Indoor Camogie; 7.30pm U14 Indoor Camogie; 8.30pm Senior Football Circuits
*Thursday 2nd 10am Primary Schools Girls Indoor Gaelic; 7pm U10/U12 Indoor Gaelic; 7pm Development Committee meeting
