A great night for all at the end of year celebration for the under 16's footballers. The team management Declan Grant and Martin O'Neill with their squad enjoyed a great evening craic and excellent food supplied by John Macs. The individual awards went to Player of the Year Cathal Rodgers and Most Improved Player Elliott Grant.
Well done to the quiz team which took part in the Irish league quiz on Thursday night in Clonduff. Good luck to Paul Doran and his Bredagh team who came out on top of the 14 teams that took part and now represent the County in the Ulster final.
Hard work pays off. Congratulations and good luck to Jemma Grant who has secured her place on the Down Ladies Football under 14 development squad having successfully navigated the two trials sessions before Christmas.
The home of current All Ireland Club football champions Crossmacglen Rangers will host the Ulster Vocational Schools U16 quarter final on Friday 20th January at 11am. The Medallion Cup champions St Columban's take on their Monaghan counterparts Innver College, Carrickmacross in what will be an eagerly contested battle. The squad has been working very hard with their coach Mr Poacher over the Festive Season. Good luck to Patrick Kelly, Conor McCartan, Elliot Grant and all the team. Seize the Day.

The club's annual dinner dance is on Saturday 4th February 2012 at 8.00pm in Diamond Pats. Tickets are available from the committee price £20.00.
