GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES

The seniors won away on Friday for the second week in a row, narrowly edging out Bredagh 1-9 to 1-7. Their next league game is still to be confirmed, for details keep an eye on the press or the club website, www.glasdrumman.down.gaa.ie

Glasdrumman Ladies enjoyed their first challenge game against Mc Dermotts of Belfast last week. The girls played good football throughout, well done to everyone who played and their mentors. Thanks to Mc Dermotts for an enjoyable game and hopefully we will be able to return the favour with a return match soon.

U10 training is Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm for the U10s with U8s & U10s training as usual each Sunday at the Quarter Road from 11.00am.

There will a number of challenge games this Thursday, 2nd September at home to Aughlisnafin for last year's P3 to P7s, beginning at 7.00pm. Can all players please be at the Quarter Road for 6.30pm.

Glasdrumman's own U10 blitz has been re-arranged for Saturday 18th September.

Congratulations to Down Senior Footballers on their All Ireland Semi Final victory over Kildare on Sunday. The underage players and mentors enjoyed their trip to Croke Park and the win certainly helped!

Bingo as usual this Thursday at 8.30pm. The tote currently stands at £2,000.
