Letterkenny wait on DRA

January 25, 2013
Letterkenny Gaels are awaiting a decision from the DRA on their long running boundary dispute with St Eunan's.

The Donegal Democrat reports that the hearing was held in the Carrickdale Hotel in Dundalk and the club was represented by chairman Dan Hartnett, secretary Jim McGlynn and committee member John McDermott.

Letterkenny were appealing the decision of Ulster Council to uphold an appeal from St Eunan's against the decision of the Donegal County Committee to divide Letterkenny along parish lines with the parish of Aughaninshin going to Letterkenny Gaels and Conwall and Leck, the designated area for St Eunan's.

It is expected to take the DRA a few weeks to come up with a decision which could have a knock-on effect for GAA clubs throughout the country.
