Hurlers on a high
May 11, 2012
Donegal manager Ray Durack admits that his side are on a high going into this weekend's clash against Monaghan.
Last weekend, the Ulster side recorded an historic win over Roscommon in the opening round of the Lory Meagher Cup, which has completely turned their campaign around.
They now, face a Monaghan side that have had their fair share of off field problems and Durack stated to the Donegal Democrat that they are looking forward to the next match.
"Confidence is high after the win over Roscommon and we are looking forward to meeting Monaghan and hopefully making it through to the semi final," said Durack.
"Monaghan beat us in the league but we hadn't an awful lot of work done and we are certainly in better shape and are much stronger than the last time we met."
