Buncrana overcame a gallant Malin team in the Scarvey on Friday evening. In perfect conditions Buncrana started in blistering fasion with Kevin O'Lochlain and Peter McLaughlin dominating midfield, supplying the inside forwards Darach O'Connor and James Wallace to whom the Malin defence had no answer. 3 O'Connor goals, one from the penalty spot and one from a great Joseph McGrory pass. Simon Cuffe scored a fine solo goal after a driving run through which left the h/t score 4-5 to 0-3.

Malin battled hard to rally in the second half. Two goals from Matthew McLaughlin gave them some chance before corner back Connor Grant sealed victory for the home side when he smashed the ball to roof of the net with 5 minutes left on the clock.
Best for Malin were Adam Byrne, Ryan Green and Daniel Melarky, while best for the home side were Peter McLaughlin and James Wallace who were outstanding as well as Calvin Jones and Darach O'Connor who were Phenomenal.

Letterkenny Gaels got back to winning ways at Pairc na nGael on Friday evening last when they defeated Termon. The first half was a close affair with Gaels leading four points to two at the break. Gaels scores were shared between Odhran McMacken and Conor McBrearty with the Termon response coming from Joe Gallagher and Aidan Sweeney. Paul Mallon closed the gap to a point at the beginning of the second half.
The turning point of the game came when Ethan Mulreennan made a great save from Dara McDaid. Termon had no answer to the penetrating runs of McMacken and McBrearty with the latter scoring a goal to open up a five point lead ten minutes into the second half. Termon responded with points from Dara McDaid and Philip Doherty but the home side replied with fine scores from McMacken, Patrick Doherty and Sean McDonagh to run out winners by eight points

Glenfin U15's had a big win over Glenswilly in the Gaelteacht Championship last weekend. Best for Glenfin were Stephen Carr, Eoin Donnelan and Shane Moy. Scorers: Stephen Carr 2-02, Conor McBride 1-04, Jason Morrow 1-04, David Carr 1-00, Karl McGlynn 1-00, Eoin Donnelan 1-00, Shane Moy 0-03,Brian Foy 0-01, Gavin Scanlon 0-01.
