Harkin to lead fundraising drive
April 20, 2012The Convoy clubman was appointed to the position at a special meeting of the Donegal Finance Committee last Sunday. Catriona Harkin, who is a daughter of county coaching officer Anthony Harkin, was appointed secretary of the group which is hoping to raise EUR100,000 by the end of next month, which will go towards the completion of the new Donegal Centre of Excellence in Convoy.
Danny Harkin served as county chairman a decade ago before being replaced by Brian McEniff in 2003 following controversial comments he made on payment to players. Tweet
