Southern board notes
August 17, 2010OG Sport Regional Blitzes -
Kilcar hosted Narossa and N Ultan last Sunday in their regional competition and it was the hosts who qualified for the Final as they defeated both Narossa and N Ultan. Narossa and N Ultan played out a good game that ended in a draw.
N Mhuire hosted Ardara, N Conaill and Dungloe. A very tight competition Dungloe and N Mhuire after both teams winning their respective matches fought out the decider with Dungloe coming out on top by 3 points to win the competition and qualify for the regional Final.
The Og Sport final will take place this Wednesday 18th starting at 6pm.Teams participating are Aodh Ruadh, Four Masters, Dungloe and Kilcar. Venue and referees to be confirmed.
The county Og Sport final has been changed from this Saturday to the following Saturday 27th.

County Semi Finals
In the division 1 under 14 county semi finals Aodh Ruadh and Killybegs lost out to their northern opposition. Killybegs lost out by a single point to Gweedore in an excellent match played in Glenties at the weekend. St Eunans proved the stronger team against Aodh Ruadh as they qualified for the final.
In the division 2 semi finals Narossa reached the final with a very good winning performance against Carndonagh. In the final they will play Milford who narrowly defeated N Brid.
Monthly Meeting
The next Monthly meeting will take place next Thursday 26th August at 8.30 in Doherty's bar Ardara. The championship draws will be made on the night. It's important that all clubs are represented.
Communications
All communications from clubs must be made by email from the club secretary to the southern board secretary Michelle Bennett in all matters for the duration of the year on [email protected] the re arrangement of matches.
Match Result Correspondance
All referees who do not use the texting system for recording results contact Packy Mcdyre on 0879074216 with the result so that the league tables can be updated.
Regional Minor Final
This year's regional Minor final has been set for Friday 3rd September at 7pm.
Division 2 Minor Final
N Columba will play Dungloe in this year's division 2 championship minor final to be played on Wednesday 25th August. Venue and referee to be confirmed.
Division 1 Minor Semi Final Fixtures
Ties to be played on Wednesday 25th August are as follows:
Ardara v Kilcar and the winners from Aodh Ruadh/Four Masters match will play Naomh Conaill. Throw ins are at 7pm.Venue and referees to be confirmed.
Division 2 under 14s county final
Narossa will play Milford in the County final this Friday 20th August @ 7pm in Glenswilly.Referee to be confirmed.
