The senior team had their first outing of the year against local rival Gweedore in Rosses Park on Saturday afternoon and progressed to the next round of the Gaelthacht competition. Recording a victory on a score-line of An Clochan Liath 1-13 Gweedore 1-8. Gweedore having the better first half leading on a score line of An Clochan Liath 0-4 Gweedore 1-4. Dungloe responded better in the second half and Corey Gallagher grabbed the goal and being assisted by some well-taken points from Benny McGarvey.
