Doherty relishing 'busy' month ahead

Donegal manager John Joe Doherty says his side will need to forget about their good start in the NFL and approach March as if they were "starting off new again".
Doherty's are currently joint-top of Division Two with Donegal after two wins from two and are likely to face their toughest test yet to maintain their 100 per cent start when they travel to Newbridge this Sunday to take on Kieran McGeeney's Kildare.
"March is going to be very busy," said Doherty in today's Irish News. "So, really how the month of March fares out will tell if you've a successful league or not.
"It's a good position we're in but you just have to guard against complacency. We were off for a two-week break there and how things have worked out in that two-week break will have a bearing.
"There is no guarantee that the momentum will continue. It is a matter now of starting off new again."
One of the most encouraging aspects of Donegal's campaign thus far has been the form of attacker Colm McFadden, who along with the rest of the squad, Doherty believes the best is yet to come from.
"There is a lot more in Colm yet, and in everybody else who are in there in what is a fairly tight squad," said the Donegal boss.
