Blake has suspension halved

Convoy manager, Joe Blake, has had his 96-week suspension halved by the County Hearing Committee at a special hearing this week.
Blake was reported by referee Don Langan after getting involved in an incident with a Naomh Colmcille player during a junior championship game at Newtowncunningham and also using abusive language towards the match official, for which the CCCC issued the initial ban.
However, after appealing to the CHC on Tuesday night Blake has seen the suspension halved down to 48 weeks.
