Derry's Ruairi Convery

Derry forward Ruairi Convery has stressed that they are taking it one game at a time in the Christy Ring Cup.

On Saturday, Derry entertain the Exiles at Owenbeg with the winners going straight through to the semi-final, while the quarterfinals await the losers.

Convery states in the County Derry Post that winning on Saturday is all that they are thinking about at the moment and not avoiding Kerry in the semi-final.

"We haven't really thought that far ahead," said Convery. "If you avoid Kerry until you get into the last game out in Croke Park that would obviously be a bonus. But as I say, we're not thinking any further ahead than London.

"We know it's going to be a tough game, and we cannot look past this game. We played London in the league and they're a good side. We came out of London with a victory and we probably didn't even deserve it."
