Ladies Football

The Ladies played a strong St. Mary's Rochfortbridge side on Thursday evening in the league. It was a tough 13-a-side game on wide pitch and Rochfortbridge started the strongest. They rattled up a tight scoreline in the first half despite Shandonagh keeping a resilient defence. The second half saw Shandonagh creating their main scoring chances but unfortunately it wasn't enough to recover. The game finished on a scoreline of Shandonagh 1-03 St. Mary's 3-10. Shandonagh now face Ballycomoyle on Thursday evening at 7.30pm in the first round of the league. This game is away.
