Castletown 4-16 Duleek/Bellewstown 1-9

Castletown came out on top on this B League Div 3 round 3 game played in Castletown on Wednesday evening.

The winners had a healthy lead at the half time whistle of 1-9 to 0-2 with scores coming from Tommy Smith 0-6, Kenny Smith 1-1 and Mark Kelly 0-3.

Duleek/Bellewstown made the better start to the second half and scored 1-2 in the first 3 minutes to reduce the home teams lead to 5 points.

Then the eventual winners took control again and ran out easy winners with scores from Ciaran Weldon 2-0, Mark Kelly 1-2 , Tommy Smith with 0-3 and Kenny Smith with  0-1.  

This was first blood to Castletown  who now travel to Duleek on Saturday night to play Duleek/Bellewstown in A league Div 2 round 6 at 7pm.
