Cork manager Pat Kenneally made no attempt to hide his disappointment after Clare ended his side's interest in this year's Munster MHC last week.

Stressing that many of his players had failed to do themselves justice, Kenneally said: "We had no answers to Clare after half-time and, after all the work we put in over the year, it was a most disappointing display.

"We thought that this work was going to pay dividends when we started so well, but once Clare settled down, they were dominant all over the field, and we can have no excuses whatsoever about the result." Tweet
