Cork thumped CIT by 2-17 to 0-7 at Pairc Ui Rinn to book a final meeting with Tipperary.
The Leesiders led by 1-11 to 0-1 at the break, centre forward Paul Kerrigan hitting 1-5 in the opening period, including a 13th-minute goal.
Gerry O'Connor registered the students' only first-half point after 27 minutes.
Cork landed three points to no score inside the opening ten minutes. Full forward Fintan Goold (after ten seconds) and Kerrigan (2) floated over those scores.
Substitute Paudie Kissane slotted the winners' second goal and there was no way back for the college team as the Rebels led by 2-15 to 0-6 with ten minutes left, Noel O'Leary and Nicolas Murphy also coming off the bench to score.
The would-be finalists tagged on two more points before the final whistle sounded.
