Charleville wary of Exiles

Charleville assistant manager John Collins is refusing to underestimate Fullen Gaels ahead of Sunday's AIB All-Ireland club JHC semi-final at Walsh Park in Waterford.

The Avondhu, Cork and Munster champions have been on a 13-game unbeaten championship run, but are well aware of the threat their opponents are likely to pose.

"I suppose we will be strongly fancied, but we have done a bit of homework on the opposition and the story is they have good individuals in all positions," Collins told the Corkman.

"They might not have had as many tough battles as ourselves, but it's just an hour from Croke Park for both teams and it can be safely said Fullen Gaels won't be lacking in motivation."

He continued: "It's a huge incentive for these lads to get to Croke Park because, while we have three players training with the Cork minors at the moment, the vast majority of them will never get a better opportunity to play there again.

"If we play to form, we should be good enough to advance, but we are expecting a huge physical battle."
