Cork beat Clare by 2-14 to 0-7 at Pairc Ui Rinn to advance to the last four.
Colm O'Neill marked his long-awaited return to senior intercounty action with a stunning personal tally of 2-4 for the Leesiders, who will take on CIT in their semi-final.
Playing their first competitive match of the season, the Rebels led by 1-5 to 0-3 after the first half, the goal coming from none other than O'Neill after 26 minutes.
Alan O'Connor and Fiachra Lynch were also amongst the hosts' scorers in that opening half, while Michael O'Shea and Ger Quinlan were on target for the Banner.
All-Ireland U21 winning Cork captain Colm O'Neill added a couple of second-half points and Gary Brennan struck a brilliant Clare point, with David Russell also on target for the visitors.
Conor Counihan's charges led by 1-10 to 0-6 after 16 minutes of the second half and O'Neill claimed his second goal on 63 when he rifled a right-foot rocket to the net.
