Cork to appeal Cadogan red

Cork's Eoin Cadogan
Cork County Board is expected to lodge a formal appeal against the red card shown to defender Eoin Cadogan during Sunday's win over Armagh.
The dual star was dismissed by referee Maurice Condon for catching Stevie McDonnell with a flailing arm in the second half at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
A mandatory four-week ban would keep Cadogan out of action for the Allianz National League Division 1 final against Dublin.
After the game, manager Conor Counihan said, "In my mind he was coming out and was fouled and drew back maybe to break free. I think somebody needs to look at the video and make a definitive decision on it."
