Kerry's James O'Donoghue, who scored the crucial goal in the 2010 McGrath Cup final, gets away from Peter Crowley of UCC
Kerry are the McGrath Cup SF winners and Donegal McKenna Cup champions while UCC and Dublin progressed in their hurling ties on Saturday.

The All-Ireland holder Kerry, who played all four games on home soil, claimed their first silverware of the new decade as they edged out UCC at Austin Stack Park.

James O'Donoghue's goal was the crucial score in the 1-11 to 0-9 win.

In hurling, extra time goals from Eoghan Murphy, who bagged 2-7 over the course of the 90-minutes, and Darach Honan saw UCC advance to the final of the Waterford Crystal SH Cup.

University Limerick looked a match for the Rebels for much of the tie as a brace of goals from Michael Gleeson forced extra time before UCC pulled away in the additional 20-minutes.

In Leinster, Anthony Daly's Dublin were comfortable ten-point winners over NUI Galway at Parnell Park in the quarter-final of the Walsh Cup.

Donegal overcame Tyrone by a point in the Barrett Sportslighting Dr McKenna Cup final at Brewster Park after a 7.30pm throw in.
