Carrig hails win

November 27, 2015

Wolfe Tones manager James Carrig has hailed their Munster club IHC victory.

Carrig led the Clare side to provincial glory after they defeated Cork side Newcestown in the decider last weekend.

Hailing the win, Carrig put the win up there with the best success that the club has ever achieved.

"The Munster senior win was top notch, getting to an All-Ireland final, but this is right up there beside it for this bunch of players. There's young and old there," Carrig told the Clare Champion.

"To bring any Munster title back to the club and our county is superb. I don't know who we are meeting now. We will celebrate this, take a few weeks off and return and have a go at an All-Ireland semi-final.

"That's what we've done all year, take it one game at a time and that's the way we will continue."
