SHC reaches semi stage

September 18, 2015

The Clare senior hurling championship semi-finals are sure to draw big crowds this weekend.

Four teams remain in the hunt for the county title and there are two intriguing games on over the weekend.

The meeting off Sixmilebridge and Crusheen looks set to be a very close encounter indeed. The 2013 champions are unbeaten so far in the campaign and put out defending champions Cratloe two weeks ago.

Crusheen have looked impressive also and they are set to provide their opponents with their sternest test to date, but Sixmilebridge get the nod to shade this one.

In the second semi-final, Clonlara take on Kilmaley. Both sides have failed to hot top gear yet, but they still have time to do so.

Clonlara's experience at this stage of the campaign is sure to be worth a few points alone and they should progress to the decider.
