Barry Hennessy, Seanie O'Brien and Cian Lynch will make their Munster SHC debuts for Limerick against Clare on Sunday.

Kilmallock clubman Hennessy replaces the injured Nickie Quaid in goal, while the Patrickswell duo of O'Brien and Lynch are named at left half back and left corner forward respectively. Lynch captained the Limerick minor side that lost last year's All-Ireland final to Kilkenny.

There are 11 survivors from the team that started last year's All-Ireland semi-final against Kilkenny, with Quaid, David Breen, Kevin Downes - who is named among the subs after an injury layoff - and Wayne McNamara the four absentees.

Limerick (SH v Clare): Barry Hennessy; Stephen Walsh, Richie McCarthy, Seamus Hickey; Tom Condon, Gavin O'Mahony, Seanie O'Brien; Paudie O'Brien, James Ryan; Paul Browne, Declan Hannon, Donal O'Grady; Cian Lynch, Shane Dowling, Graeme Mulcahy.
