Looking to recruit Club Manager

(Oldest Posts First)

Anyone know of any decent club coaches in Cavan who would be interested in taking the rains at an underperforming Meath club (based around the Navan boundary) in 2009???

Can't reveal club of yet as we are still involved in action but it's been made known that our trainer is not coming back, we're centrally located about 1hours drive from Cavan Town and lost out at the quarter final stage of the Meath IFC recently.
Anyone know of any names???

Donal Keoghan would not be a great option!!! Who's the pick out of the following?

Brian Comiskey
John Mulvaney
Ray Cullivan
Adrian Lambe
Gerry sheridan
Jody Clarke
Colm MacAvoy
Bernard Morris
Steven King

John Mulvaney is an excellent trainer.. has done well with a poor kilinkere team. I heaar Colm MacEvoy is also an excellent trainer. Bernard Morris has done an excellent job with Ballinagh and Steven king has done like wise with kilashandra. Jody Clark managed a team in meat the past few years... not sure how he got on. Was a great player in his time.

Not really sure about the rest as mangers.

This would be my top 3:

1) Bernard morris
2) John Mulvaney
3) Steven king

Steven King the author? I think it's spelled 'Stephen', he did captain us to our last Ulster SFC title.

Phelim Plunkett should be among that list.

Is Morris training anyone at the moment?
Colm MacAvoy has trained both Kells and Oldcastle and worked wonders with the latter, anyone know if he's involved with a club team in Cavan?
Jody Clark training Oldcastle or Drumconrath this year and both are looking at relegation to junior.

TomSmith should be taken into consideration. If you read some of his threads you'll see that he talks the talk...and at least if ye take him he won't be clogging up our forum

Bennyblanco Our ex Cavan Senior manager Donald Keogan has indicated that he has suffered burnout and as such he is not interested in any managerial appointments as of now.

well benny a team of james cole, paddy mac namee and john mulvanney would go very well i think.
colm mc evoy is also very very good, i played under him 10 years ago and remember thinking his training was ahead of its time...he has improved every single team he has had a hand in
