Ulster VS final postponed
February 01, 2012The provincial senior football final was scheduled for Kildress tonight with the Tir Chonaill lads slight favourites mainly due to the fact that Donegal senior Paddy McBrearty is in their side.
The one positive about the postponement from a Cavan point of view is that midfielder David Harpur was a major doubt for tonight with an eye injury but could feature in the re-fixture which is likely to take place next Tuesday.
Originally scheduled for Enniskillen, the game was moved to Kildress but that venue then became unavailable. The bad weather at the weekend meant that it was impossible to find a new venue at short notice. Tweet
