Senior Team News;
Ramor played Cuchulainns in the League in Mullagh on Sunday evening last. At half time Ramor had a comfortable lead on a score-line of 2-8 to 0-4. Cuchulainns dominated the second half and Ramor were lucky to hold on to the game winning by just two points. Final score; Ramor 2-13, Cuchulainns 1-14.

Ramor have been drawn against Lacken in the quarter-final of the Championship; the game is on Saturday. August 28th in Breffni Park @ 8pm. Please support!
Fixtures;

There are no games fixed for this coming weekend due to the All Ireland Fleadh.

Membership Reminder;
There are still quite a number of memberships outstanding. Please forward to Treasurer Joe Hopkins, Mullagh Rd , or any committee member.

Use of the running track is for members only. You can pay €10 Social membership should you wish to use the track.

Race Night Fundraiser;
Ramor Utd are holding a Race Night on Friday, September 17th in The Chestnut Tree, Virginia. Race sponsorship is €40, while horses cost €20. Cards are being distributed at the moment. We urge all members and the people of our community to support this endeavour, and come along and join in the fun on the night!

Monthly Meeting;
Ramor Utd Committee Monthly Meeting takes place on Wednesday, September 8th at 9pm in the Clubrooms. All members are welcome to attend.

Congratulations;
Congratulations to Pat Joe Monaghan who scooped the €10,200 Ramor Slotto Jackpot on Sunday night.!

U-14 Championship;
The U-14 Championship will be starting next week. Ramor will be competing in Division 1. Our first game is against Kingscourt , check local fixtures for time and venue.

U-8 & U-10 Training;
Training every Saturday morning at 10am. New players always welcome.

Clubrooms;
The club would like if all those who use our facilities, in particular the Clubrooms, would please tidy up after themselves, and dispose of litter in the bins provided. Thanks for your co-operation in this matter.

Facebook;
There is a page on Facebook currently called "Ramor Untied GFC" (note the incorrect spelling!). This page has not been authorized by the Ramor Utd club, and the club wishes it known that there is no association with Ramor whatsoever, even though the person(s) have set up a link to the official web-site. The club would ask any members who are "friends" or communicate with this page to distance themselves. Members will be informed when or if an official Facebook page is set up.

Ramor Golf Society;
Next outing is on Saturday, September 4th in Navan Golf Course from 12-1pm. Cost is €25 for Society members and €30 for non-members. Contact Aodghan Cahill on 086-3952640 to get your name on the timesheet. Refreshments afterwards in the Mill Bar.

Ramor Slotto;
Please support our on-going fundraising efforts by buying Slotto tickets. They are €2 each, and are on sale in shops and pubs locally.

Ramor Astro Pitches;
Two pitches are available to hire, one regular size and one larger. Full use of all the facilities is available. Call 086-8131815 to make a booking. The astro-turf is also available to hire for birthday parties. Price includes use of the kitchen facilities.
