All Ireland Junior Preview
Cavan, boosted by their dramatic late equaliser against Monaghan last weekend, will be chomping at the bit when both teams replay the All Ireland Junior B Final in Ashbourne on Sunday next August 22nd at 2.30p.m..
A physically powerful Monaghan side, lead by Captain Angela Kerr from Clontibret will be hard to defeat. Although the Farney County were slow to start the first game they quickly found their feet as the game went on and ten minutes before half time started to close down the Cavan attack. The half time speech by Monaghan manager Paul Ward strengthen the side even more and the Monaghan players came out with fierce determination to get on top of Cavan's midfield area and looked home and dry with minutes to go in the match. The Monaghan side will have learned a lot from the game and will be pleased with their defensive work not allowing any of the Cavan forwards to dominate. There is no doubt that management of Paul Ward and Geraldine Clarke will be working hard with the squad as they attempt to record an All Ireland win over the Cavan side.
Cavan have lots to learn from the first game and will have to work hard all over the field to secure a win over Monaghan. Although they got off to an extremely good start first time round they just didn't do enough to kill off the Monaghan spirit and will have to ensure that all chances are taken on Sunday to dampen this spirit. Team management of Colm Mc Evoy and Margaret Carroll have no fear in making changes and bringing on subs to win a game and this management skill stood to them last week when super sub Aoishe O'Reilly stole a replay with a last minute goal. The key strength to the Cavan team has to be their belief in themselves, they never let their heads drop at any point during the match, although victory looked to be going back to Monaghan. The experienced Captain Rosie Crowe will have to lead the Cavan players by example and will be hoping to be lifting the Máire Ní Chinnéide Cup at the final whistle on Sunday.

Camogie Players for new RTE TWO Series!
Toto Productions in association with RTE TWO are looking for a trio of sporty girls to take part in a new dating show hosted by Jennifer Maguire. They are targeting Camogie players and would like to film in county Cavan. The idea for the show is to get Ireland dating again, and they are going to different towns around the country to introduce a trio of girls or lads to a group of the opposite sex. It's basically a spontaneous, large group date. They're looking for as many trios of singletons as possible; they can be friends, workmates, family or a mixture of them all, as well as individual singletons who are up for a laugh. The ideal people to take part would be single, outgoing, fun, and not overly camera shy! Further information can be got from Toto Productions, Emer Dunne 04198 34794 /
