Bailieborough Shamrocks Underage
Minors
The minor team hosted St Josephs on Sunday morning in St Anne's Park in what proved to be perfect conditions for football. After a shaky start the Shamrocks established a 7 point lead by half time having scored 4 goals in the process. They needed this cushion as they were playing into a brisk breeze in the second half. Indeed it took considerable resilience to hang on in the end as a game St Joseph's fought their way back into the game. Bailieborough made very heavy work of scoring in the second period despite dominating for periods but in the end they held out by three points for a well deserved victory which keeps them in the hunt for honours.

St Anne's Park Development
Visitors to the "park" over the weekend have been very complimentary of the new dressing room complex which is now nearing completion. The standard of workmanship and the overall design of the complex have been highly praised. It is hoped to have the facilities available for the opening round game of the league. Well done to all those who are helping out in any way.
