Drumlane GAA Annual Golf Classic

Drumlane GAA club are holding their annual golf classic in the beautiful surroundings of the Slieve Russell Golf and Country Club on Friday 3rd July. The club are delighted to have Fays Coaches on board as main sponsors for this year's classic. Kevin Fay has been involved in the club for longer than he cares to remember including eleven years as chairman and is currently ASAP officer for the club. The classic which is in its twelfth year has proven to be very popular with golf enthusiasts attracting upwards of 50 teams annually, with teams travelling from overseas to take part. The club are hopeful of continuing this trend and taking into account the current economic climate have reduced the cost of entering a team from 600 to 400, which includes golf, snacks, dinner and nights entertainment. With 4,000 worth of prizes including a fabulous 1st Prize of a trip for four to the Belfry including 2 rounds of golf, one on the world famous Brabazon course which hosted four Ryder Cups, Dinner B & B it should prove to be a very competitive days golf with Golf Classic Director PJ Creamer once again making sure that everything runs off smoothly. There also promises to be a great night's entertainment open to all club members and their friends with a host of artists including our own Ian Corrigan, Whiskey you're the Divil, Cormac McCann (The Piano Man), Ian Ibrow, The Havana Showband & more.
