Results U12 Girls bet Cornafaen in league on Wednesday. Senior ladies bet Shannon Gaels in semi final of 9 a side league. They now move on to play Cornafaen in the final. U12 Boys won their semi final in a great match against Shannon Gaels. They came from behind in the match to give a brilliant second half performance. The final will be on Tuesday @ 8 (venue TBA) U14 boys won 2 out of their 3 matches in a 7 a side blitz held in Belturbet to move on to the next round. Report U12 girls league Killeshandra u12 girls had a good win over their neighbours Cornfaen on Wednesday evening last in Drumlane. Killeshandra started well with goals from Shauna Murphy, Orla Feeney and Jennifer Brady. Niamh Kelly added two points to leave half time 3-2 to 0-0. Cornfaen opened the second half scoring 2 points and only for Anna Luby in the Killleshandra goals it would have been more. The leaguers got into stride after 10mins of the half with Niamh Kelly scoring 2 goals and Shauna Murphy following with another from a free. Orla Feeney who had a fine game throughout finished the scoring with a well taken goal This was a good team performance with some great play from Caoimhe McDermott, Niamh Kelly, Shauna Murphy, Jennifer Brady, Rachel Brady, Jane Mc Gearty and Orla Feeney Club News The Cavan World record attempt which went ahead last Saturday was a great success.
