Quiet weekend for Carlow GAA
May 29, 2008
A number of clubs in the county will have a free Bank Holiday weekend as the county board has decided not to schedule many matches over the coming days.
Following the start of the Carlow senior football championship last weekend, there will be no senior games over the bank holiday weekend with only the intermediate hurling campaign beginning.
There are two games in the IHC on Friday night as Naomh Eoin play Palatine and Naomh Brid take on Mount Leinster Rangers, which gives players a chance to enjoy the coming days.
