Murphy to remain in Pat's chair
January 26, 2012The club's initial AGM was abandoned after a new chairman could not be found, but at the reconvened meeting last weekend, Murphy agreed to stay for an additional 12 months.
"It was a positive meeting," secretary Mick O'Neill explained to the Carlow Nationalist. "Overall Chris would prefer to step down but he agreed to let his name go forward as long as an effort is made to get someone in place next year." Tweet
