Carlow footballers take on neighbours Laois in the O'Byrne Shield this Sunday afternoon.

Following their seven point defeat to Dublin in the O'Byrne Cup last weekend, Carlow enter the secondary competition and manager Luke Dempsey will be hoping to rectify some of the mistakes made against the All-Ireland champions.

Carlow will have home advantage for this match and they will surely be hoping to get an extra competitive game before the league begins next month. Tweet
