Former Laois manager Sean Dempsey has wasted little time in returning to the sidelines as he as joined Carlow side O'Hanrahan's management team for the remainder of the year.

Dempsey was relieved of his duties at the end of a disappointing campaign that saw Laois lose to Meath in the Leinster championship and then to Tipperary in the All-Ireland qualifiers.

O'Hanrahan's were a club in turmoil earlier in the year when they were forced to withdraw from the league due to a lack of numbers, but they have managed to regroup and brought Dempsey in to help manager Breffni Hannon. Tweet
