Brennan calls for change of attitude

Carlow selector Hughie Brennan believes that unless players change their attitude then the county is going nowhere.

The Barrowsiders' year came to an end last Saturday when Derry defeated them in the qualifiers and manager Luke Dempsey is believed to be considering his position.

Brennan, who is part of the management team, feels that they have the talent in the county, but stressed that the players in question need to take a look at themselves.

"They're a good bunch of lads but they maybe have to look at their discipline both on and off the field as a big, big issue," said Brennan.

"They've got to come prepared as a group of players determined to win something. That's where they're lacking a small bit."
