SHC throws in this weekend

The group stage of the 2009 Carlow senior hurling championship commences this weekend, with three games down for decision.
Seven clubs are taking part in the competition and they will all play each other on a round-robin basis in the 'league' phase, with the top four progressing to the semi-finals.
The first of the six rounds takes place this weekend, with Erin's Own and Ballinkillen getting the sliothar rolling at DCP on Saturday evening at 7.30.
And there's a double-header at the county grounds on Sunday: Naomh Eoin V Carlow Town at 2.00 and holders Naomh Brid V St Mullins at 3.30.
Mount Leinster Rangers sit this round out.
