Carlow captain aware of Kingdom goal threat

Carlow's Mark Brennan
Carlow hurling captain Mark Brennan knows the Barrowsiders must snuff out Kerry's goal threat in Saturday's Ring Cup semi-final.
Holders Carlow play the Kingdom at the semi-final stage of the second-tier All-Ireland at DCP on Saturday afternoon, and are odds-on favourites to progress.
They're on course to become the first ever Carlow team to retain an All-Ireland title, but team captain Brennan is wary of Saturday's opposition - especially their knack of finding the net:
"Yeah, a very tough game next weekend. Kerry seem to be going very well and, from what we hear, are training very hard the last few weeks.
"They put up a huge score against Derry but we are well aware of their capability to put up big scores, especially lots of goals.
"Whatever team the lads pick is going to have to work its socks off to stop a decent supply of balls getting through to their forwards.
"If we can achieve that, then we're in with a shout; if not, we'll be in trouble.
