Murroe Boher 0-11 Crecora 2-4
-----------------------------------------
Intermediate Championship Final

Murroe Boher secured the Intermediate Championship with a one point victory over Crecora in a thrilling match in Bruff on Sunday.

In a match that was tightly contested from the get go it was last year's runners-up Murroe Boher that started best opening a three point lead before Crecora got on the board. But the 2014 Junior champions came back strongly and goals from Dearbhla Egan and Anna Kennedy gave them a two-point lead at the break.

After the break in what turned out to be the crucial period of the game it was Murroe Boher who again started brightly building a significant lead. Crecora again rallied but Murroe hung on for the narrowest of victories.

This was a game of the highest quality contested by two clubs who have a great future ahead of them. Murroe Boher will go on to represent Limerick in the Munster Junior championship and will face Butlerstown of Waterford in the semi-final this weekend.

Senior Championship Semi-Finals
-----------------------------------------------
Granagh Ballingarry and Killeedy will again contest the Limerick Senior Camogie Final after semi-final wins over Ahane and Ballyagran respectively.

Killeedy were made to work by a strong Ballyagran fightback in the final stages of the game after they had opened a strong lead with goals either side of the break.

Granagh Ballingarry were also made to work by a determined Ahane team but an early goal gave them a cushion that they carried through the game.

The Ciaran Carey managed Granagh Ballingarry side are looking to win a third successive Senior title. With an experienced side including county stars such as Sarah Carey, Aoife Sheehan and Fiona Hickey they will no doubt be slight favourites going into the game.

However Killeedy also have a strong tradition and managed by All-Ireland winning minor manager Willie Banks they have a blend of youth and experience with players like Noreen Barry, Deirdre Fitzpatrick, Donna Mulcahy and Aisling Scanlon.

This will be an eagerly anticipated clash and will throw-in at 12pm in Newcastle West.
