U14 Leinster Inter-Provincial Blitz
The U14 squads had their first outing of the year when they travelled to Rathleague in Laois last Sunday to take part in the Leinster Inter-Provincial Blitz.  Westmeath had two teams.  The  A team beat Wexford 2 and Kilkenny 3 and lost by 2 points to Dublin 2.  As they finished second in the group they played Dublin 2 again and lost by 4 points in the semi-final.  The B team were beaten by Meath 2 and Kildare 2but qualfieid for the Shield final against Louth which they won well.  In total 56 girls played.  Well done to each of them and to the mentors and parents who travelled with the teams - Laura Heffernan, Louise Flynn, Mark and Johanne Healy, Valarie Buckley and Charmaine Corcoran.

Féile na nGael Skillstar Competition
The county Féile na nGael Skillstar competition will be held in Cusack Park on Tuesday evening 19th May at 6pm.


Re-scheduling of Matches
Clubs are reminded of the requirement that before any match is cancelled a re-scheduled date MUST be agreed and submitted to the county board.  Rescheduled dates for all outstanding games in u14, u16 and u18 championships must be submitted by 31st May.
