A memorable year for Kilcoole Camogie Club was celebrated on Friday night in Kilcoole Golf Club when we held our Volunteers' Night and presented the Intermediate Championship medals to our winning squad. It gave us the opportunity to thank everybody who has worked in the Club this year and without whom we could not function. The Intermediate Championship winning side met for the last time for the foreseeable future as Intermediate players and received their medals. The Championship Cup was in attendance, as was the U17 B Championship Cup, also won this season. Nicky Keddy was named 'Player of the Year 2011' and accepted her Award from Manager Billy Burke. Congratulations Nicky! Billy also received a special Award in recognition of his work in leading us to 'the land of the Senior teams' for the first time in our history!
The challenge ahead in Senior Camogie ranks is great and we are all ready to take it on but for now its Congratulations time for our Championship winners!
