As the playing season comes to a close, preparations are underway for our Annual Volunteers' Night Out when we take the opportunity to say thanks to the many people who work to keep the Club in operation during the year. However small you think your contribution may be, we see it as part of the big jigsaw that makes up our Club. We look forward to what should be a great night. Indoor Camogie has now finished and will resume in Colaiste Chraobh Abhann on January 17th.
Hard Luck to Colaiste Chraobh Abhann's Senior team who departed the Senior Schools Championship at the hands of holders Carnew during the week.
Though playing very well at times, the Kilcoole girls could not match the experience of their opponents at this level. Having done so well to reach the 'A' Championship semi-final they have set down a marker for next year's team! Best of Luck to Carnew who now play Dominican Wicklow in the Final.
Heartiest Congratulations to Fionnuala Britton on her Gold medal Run at the European XCountry Championships on Sunday - a perfectly run race after endless hours, weeks and years of training - well deserved! Well Done also to Una Britton who made her debut at this level in the U23 race. She performed very well with the best of Europe's U23 Women and we will see her again on such a stage.
