Kilcoole - Intermediate Camogie Champions 2011! We will celebrate this amazing achievement as our players and supporters join with the Club Volunteers who make everything possible.
On Friday December 16th the Championship medals will be presented at a Function in Kilcoole Golf Club starting at 8.30. All Volunteers who helped us in any capacity this year are invited to join us as a token of our gratitude for your contribution to what has been a fantastic season for us on many levels.
Without Coaches, fundraisers, cooks, sponsors .... and many more besides....we could not have done it! Our club is an ongoing project and success does not come overnight - we appreciate the many people who have made a contribution, big or small, over the past 16 years and look forward to seeing you on the night.
On the Pitch we had a panel of 24 players who delivered this Championship success for the first time but many more behind the scenes. We look forward to celebrating on Dec 16th with everybody who has helped us on the road to the land of Senior Camogie teams!
Tickets for Supporters and friends are available at 15 Euro for what promises to be a great night - contact Billy 0879614487 or Breda 0876998536.
Congratulations to the girls of Kilcoole Primary School who took home the County title at the Indoor Schools Blitz recently and thanks to the GAA Co Games Dvelopment Committee for organising it. You were brilliant!
Colaiste Chraobh Abhann, with many of our players on board, has enjoyed great success in the Post Primary Schools Championship this season. With two great wins already, against St Mary's Arklow and St Kevin's Dunlavin they have qualified for the 'A' Championship semi-final. This is a marvellous achievement in a few short years. When you read this, the semi-final may well be over. CCA play holders Colaiste Bhride Carnew and we wish them the very best - Win lose or draw, we are very proud of your achievement!
National Director of Camogie, Mary O'Connor and S Leinster Co-ordinator Jenny Duffy presented a workshop 'Drills Galore' in Colaiste Chraobh Abhann last week. It was attended by our Coaches as well as coaches from around the county. Our thanks to Mary and Jenny - it was very valuable as well as enjoyable!
This is the last week for Indoor Camogie before Christmas. We had a great time over the past 8 weeks and we look forward to seeing you all again when we start back on Tuesday January 10th.
Finally, Congratulations to our friends in Eire Og Greystones on their fantastic victory in the Leinster Football Championship! Enjoy the celebrations and best wishes for the All-Ireland semi-final in January.
